You must have read this by now, and thought this was it for OpenAI.
But let’s be real. Gemini is currently vaporware and in the form that they claim will kill ChatGPT 4.0, it will not be out until some time next year.
If there is one thing we in the AI development business have learned the hard way is this: Do not trust what someone says is available until you can test it yourself. From what I can tell, the version available now is the same as Google Board.
In my educated opinion, it is a great start, but when I get to work, I grab the tools of OpenAI today to deliver something someone can use now.
