Every week, someone proudly announces they’ve “launched an AI agent company.”
Sounds impressive — until you ask:
“Cool. How many AI agents have you built for yourself?”

Crickets.

See, if AI agents are the future, the first person to benefit from them should be… the builder. Imagine selling a car you refuse to drive. Or offering financial advice while living paycheck to paycheck. Yet in the AI world, it’s become normal to sell “autonomous agents” that can’t even handle your calendar, inbox, or to-do list.

Let me be clear:
I believe in AI agents. I’ve used them. I’ve created them.
But we need a higher standard.
We need fewer pitch decks and more personal prototypes.

Call to Action:
So here’s your challenge:
Don’t wait for a company to build one for you.
