01 · What changed

What Anthropic shipped.

What changed: Code Review is out of research preview. Anthropic says most reviews now finish about 3x faster than during the preview (about 20 minutes down to 6 to 10 minutes), and findings state the problem, what triggers it and the fix in a few sentences. Admins choose Quick, Standard (the default) or Deep for each repository. In practice, every new pull request gets a written first review before a human reviewer opens it.

02 · What it means

What it means for your seat.

For an investment firm, this matters wherever people write code: an internal data team, a deal tooling group or the engineers who build on Claude. It changes who reads a pull request first. It also puts a dated decision in front of Enterprise admins about the credits.

Leadership

If your firm has engineers building internal tools on GitHub, Code Review gives each new pull request a written review before a person reads it. Anthropic frames it as an answer to coding agents producing code faster than people can review it. Your decisions are which repositories it covers and whether to claim the Enterprise credits by 15 January 2027.
